Juma married a Kenyan by the name of Margaret Njiru. They later divorced and he came back to Zambia in 1980. He lived in [[Lusaka]]'s [[Mtendere Township]].
 
==Death==
In 2000 he went to [[Kabwe]] to live with his relatives and it was while there that a bout of malaria subdued him. He was admitted to [[Kabwe General Hospital]] where he succumbed and died.
