List of Presidents of Zambia who died in office

During the history of Zambia two presidents have died in office[1][2][3].Of those two died cause of some sikness. In all two cases, the Vice President of Zambia took over the office of presidency as Acting President until a presidential by-election was held after 90 days to go and vote for a new president to finish the term.
Michael Sata holds the record for shortest term served in Zambia, holding the office of presidency for 1,131 days before dying. Levy Mwanawasa is the president to die while in office when he got sick[4] [5]on national duty he died on August 19, 2008[3] at the Percy Military Hospital in Paris
