Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU) is a private university in Zambia and is located in Lusaka's mutandwa road off Kasangula Road in Roma [1]. It was established after eight founding Zambians got together to consider the establishment of a top quality university with special focus on the health sector. These founding members consisted of four medical doctors, one doctor of science, one doctor of philosophy, one health systems planner, and an electronic engineer. [2]

Pre-medical programme is there to provide high quality tuition to students for the 'A' Level (London Edexcel Syllabus) examinations.
