Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) is an agency in Zambia that provides for integrated environmental management and the protection and conservation of the environment and the sustainable management and use of natural resources. provide for the preparation of the State of Environment Report.

Background

ZEMA was formerly Environmental Council of Zambia (ECZ) and was changed to Zambia Environmental Agency in 2011 after the Environmental Management Act [1] was enacted by the Parliament of Zambia.
