Kalumba was a qualified Chartered Accountant under the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) following his studies at Emile Wolf College in London. He later obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, United Kingdom.
