Faxon Nkandu (died 8 January 2017) was a Zambian veteran media trainer, journalist, freedom fighter and politician. His daughter Maureen Nkandu is a renowned international journalist and communications expert.

Career

He served as a diplomat under the United National Independence Party (UNIP) Government.[1] He also lectured at Evelyn Hone College, NormaJean School of Broadcasting and spoke at various media workshops and trainings.[2]

Death

Nkandu passed away in the morning of 8 January 2017 at his home in Kamwala. He had been unwell for some time due to ailments related to old age. He was 82.[3]
