Dr Chishimba Kambwili (born 3 June 1969) is a Zambian politician and member of the National Assembly of Zambia for Roan Constituency (Luanshya),[1] and held the office of Minister of Sports and Youth in the Cabinet of Zambia.

Early life and education

He was born on 3 June 1969 in Luanshya where he subsequently completed his education. He later studied Industrial Relations, Business Administration and Trade Union Studies.

Career

Kambwili is also National Youth Chairman for the Patriotic Front, which in September 2011 election became the ruling party in Zambia.

Kambwili was first appointed Minister of Foreign affairs however was then moved to Ministry of Labour, then Minister of Sports and Youth and holds the position of the Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services since 2015. He is also the spokesperson of the PF government and party.
