The debut album came at the time Muyamwa had left the [[Zambia Broadcasting Services]] (ZBS) for [[Nchanga Consolidated Copper Mines ]] (NCCM). The album was recorded at [[DB Studios]] in [[Lusaka]]. It is considered one of the best instrumentals to ever be released in Zambia.
