Makebi Zulu
Makebi Zulu (born 25 December 1981) is a Zambian lawyer and former politician who served as Member of Parliament for Malambo Constituency from 2016 to 2021. He also served as Provincial Minister for Eastern Province during his term in office. Zulu is a senior legal practitioner based in Lusaka and has participated in high-profile national debates, particularly around constitutional law and governance.

Makebi Zulu was born on 25 December 1981. He pursued his tertiary education at the University of Zambia (UNZA), where he studied law and graduated in 2005.
Legal career
Zulu is a seasoned legal practitioner and founder of **Makebi Zulu Advocates**, a law firm based in Lusaka. His legal work covers both civil and criminal litigation, with notable contributions in constitutional law, electoral disputes, and public interest litigation.
He gained national prominence for his legal analysis and representation in matters relating to constitutional amendments, and was among the lawyers who actively discussed the implications of Bill 10 during its proposal stages.
Political career
Zulu entered active politics in 2016 when he was elected as Member of Parliament for Malambo under the Patriotic Front (PF). Shortly after his election, he was appointed Provincial Minister for Eastern Province, where he oversaw local government operations and development programmes.
