Mike Mulongoti

Mike Isaiah Mulongoti (3 August 1951 — 2 May 2019) was a Zambian politician and President of the People's Party. He also served as Cabinet Minister, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services and Minister of Works & Supply in the Movement of Multiparty Democracy under President Levy Mwanawasa and Rupiah Banda.

Death
Mulongoti was evacuated to South Africa for specialist cancer treatment in January 2019. He was later brought back to Zambia in April 2019 and was admitted to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka. He passed away on 2 May 2019 at UTH at the age of 67.
