'''Soul Masala''' is [[Maureen Lilanda]]'s fifth album released in 2007. The song was based on music from the soul and Masala means mixture.  This album has many genres and features the song "[[Mulindi]]" which Maureen dedicated to her late mother. “This is the song I wrote for my mother passing on. I was thanking my father in that song but before he could hear the finished project, he died as well,” she said.
